Re: Symphony #10, 4th movement
Beautiful composition! The use of VI's is impressive. Generally quite natural and stylistically appropriate.
If I had one comment about the mix, it is just that the lows are a slightly understated. I.e., the high mids & high end are a bit "forward". But this is well within the realms of "personal taste".
It's gorgeous.
The mixture of synthesis and acoustic instruments is very cool. The synths are also a little forward and less ambient, but that helps things to stay clear and non-muddy. Very nice flavors.
I really love this. Very cinematic-- but also a very well-crafted piece. I'm not ready for it to end.

Re: Symphony #10, 4th movement
Very nice.
It sounds like you were channeling your inner Ferde Grofé in the overall tone of the acoustic VIs and percussion. You just don’t hear that anymore. Then you bring on the synths and loops like that was a natural extension—which it is the way you do it.
Yea, I’m gonna have to listen to it on the monitors and crank it up (in a few hours ... not at 6:30am)
