Post by MIDI Life Crisis »

I am pleased to announce the release of my CD "Tipping Point" available through the Catalina Island Museum. Violinist Nicole Garcia is featured, with yours truly on piano. In all, there is one hour of music. Here's the link where you can find out more about the exhibit and purchase the CD (download version available soon):

Thanks, man. The Black Hole reverb plays an important role here, as does Mach Five ver 3. The project was fairly extensive for the live event and having all the cues in one project (thank you MOTU and DP) was essential if I was to get it all done in time.

Wonderful news! I'll purchase the download as soon as you release it.

Now you'll have to do a "Making Of" video so we see how you did it!

Love the samples. Yea, I'll snag the download when available.

I've bought but haven't used Black Hole yet — nice effect.

Nice work Mike. As always. Nice to hear stuff that is just wonderful themes and pacing. I am sooo tired of the wall to wall frequencies, amplitude, and every spacial nook and cranny filled up. Love how you used the air and space to define what you want the listener to focus on. A lost art.
AMPGUI themes - Andy rocks!, 3 macs, MacPro 768GB ram, 16core OS11.7.10, DP11.31, all Waves, all SLATE, PSP, IK multimedia & Audioease plugs, all PAlliance, Softube, tons of NI VI's all air Spitfire, all Audiobro, all Berlin, EW PLAY, LLizard, MachFive3, Kontakt5, Omnisphere, RMX, LASS, all Soundtoys, Lexicon AU's, melodyne and others I know am forgetting, cause I'm old...Also mucho outboard rigs, MTPs, DTP, antelope WC, and 4 control surfaces with Raven.
