Re: DP10 manual
You know what would be great? If PDFs lived up to their potential.
It should be possible to show in a PDF what has changed since the last version of a document.
So every sentence in the manual that's been changed gets highlighted, turned blue whatever..

Re: DP10 manual
It could be a selection in the main menu. "Show new edits to document", This has universal usefulness, if two people are working on a document the edits are visible etc. Adobe already made Acrobat a pig it couldn't add that much more to the size!MIDI Life Crisis wrote:Agreed! It could be color coded for different additions and redactions.

Re: DP10 manual
But you only find what you are looking for. What I like about printed books/manuals is that by skimming through them you often find useful stuff you were not looking for. It’s hard to search for functions you never knew were there to begin with.mikehalloran wrote: Learn how to use a searchable .pdf file and you’ll never miss the thousand page manual again.

Great point and also how many people find love. LolFutureLegends wrote:But you only find what you are looking for. True. It's surprising what you find reading the manual when you aren't looking for the answer to a specific question. But there's no reason we can't skim the PDF.FutureLegends wrote: But you only find what you are looking for.
