I'd like to keep the impact of my lower 'tribal drums' and native drums (which are recorded nice and clear and loud with air around them) in my final mix without blowing apart a prospective listeners speakers.
My mix sounds great on my Event TR6's....loud, uncompressed without clipping, lots of impact......I'd like to keep it that way.
My mixdown sounds good on a nice home stereo, but I'm afraid it could 'rattle' a boombox!
I'm using DP plugins and Wave Musician's Bundle II.
Any suggestions?
Thanks all....Cam Millar

I did listen to my tune over a newer Sony boombox that had the bass boost on.
It sounded good, except for when the drums got louder and louder the Sony couldn't handle the frequencies....it started to sound pretty distorted and the shelf started to rattle! Thought I was going to blow the boombox apart.
But the Mix sounded pretty fine though over my friends home system, which was just some stock Sony 2-ways and some old Realistic Minimus speakers wired in as well.
Tricky....I'd like to keep the sonic impact of the low drum buildup.
