Symphonic Instrument 64-bit (cannot find older 32-bit sess)

Post by jdly »

Hi,
For the specialists and long time users of MSI:
I'm using Symphonic Instrument 64-bit (UVI workstation) as VST plugin with Ableton Live in Windows 10. Everything works fine in this setup BUT when I try to open an older Ableton live session with the former 32-bit Symphonic Instrument (so without the UVI workstation) it doesn't find the plugin :-( Of course I can point to the new UVI workstation manually but then I have to check in the older sessions which sounds where loaded. The biggest problem is that I have +/- 300 of these old sessions. Can you imagine the time I will loose if I have to revise all these one by one to be able to open in my 64-bit setup...
So, does someone knows maybe a faster way to solve this problem? thx J

JBridge might be what you are looking for. It bridges 32 bit VSTs to work in 64 bit apps and vise versa.

There's a demo. 14.99 Euro. It might be the same in dollars—I don't remember.

Good idea, but Motu tells me that the old MSI (32-bit)is not supported by Windows 10. So not a sulution for me. Thanks
