FYI - Today, it says the price is $59, not $49. Was it really $49 back on Apr. 5 when you posted this? Just wondering if they jiggered the sale price since then....
UVI is 25% off on everything through Sunday (April 15). That would be $59.25. Perhaps they are rounding down?

Turn up your luck this Friday the 13th! Save 25% on all UVI products including Falcon, Vintage Vault 2, Meteor, Digital Motion, Orchestral Suite and much more...
Don't miss out! Your luck may last all year but this deal will only be around for 3 days!

Overloud Dopamine $79

Post by Rick Cornish »

This week, Ilio is offering Overloud's "Dopamine" exciter for $60 off the normal price. Still not exactly cheap, but it's the only recreation I've found of the old Dolby A "faux exciter" trick we used to use back in the day. I can think of a couple things I'm working on right now where this could be useful.

Here's the link…
https://ilio.com/products/overloud-plug ... tomer-list

Has anyone here used this plug? If so, please let me know what you think. At $79, it's still a bit spendy, but I might be able to justify it, if it works as good as it appears to in the demo video.

Sampler - Free and Pro Versions

Post by billf »

I ran across a new (to me at least) sampler recently. There is a free version and a pro version, the latter which is very reasonably priced.

IIRC, you have to use a VST version in DP.

Checked outage YouTube videos and was not particularly impressed that it was adding anything that Mach5 (or Falcon) already does. It's a heck of a lot less expensive and might be great for a beginner who didn't want to cough up for the higher end stuff.

If they'd make a version for iOS, I'd snap that up in a heartbeat. iOS needs something like this BADLY!

Regularly $99.

Looks interesting. Can anyone recommend this? How does it compare to Waves' L2 or the Masterworks Limiter?

No, but reading the description it doesn't interest me at all. Seems like another "one button can fix it all" kind of thing with one Purpose: to make things LOUD.

That's not really an issue for me...

PianoVerb2 is really interesting. It is tuned to the 12 tones of equal temperament. You can use it as-is or detune it for some unusual effects. There’s also a free version but it’s not as versatile, of course. I snapped up PV2 the last time it was on sale and have used it a few times. I don’t know the other two. Till May 1.

Home Grown Sounds Group Buy ends May 1st!

Post by kgdrum »

https://hgsounds.com/product/augment-for-kontakt-5-7/

Just a reminder Home Grown Sounds current Group Buy ends May 1st.
Currently it's at level 19 and needs 11 more people to join to get to level 20,which I suspect it will.
This will give you 10 Kontakt based instruments, samples and loops for $15.
The developer is generous & quite talented.IMO this Group Buy is a true no brainer.
