I know about Plogue, and am very interested in it, but are there any other AUs out there that can chain and signal manage multiple AUs? In sound design, I often want to cross fade between two effects settings (usually EQ), and it would be so much easier if I could just pop two instances in and change the balance between them. I do this in Guitar Rig, but their EQs, specifically, are minimal.
Anyone have experience with these types of plugins?
PS: I’m very interested in Plogue Bidule, however the fact that their trial only includes the standalone app is kinda unfortunate, as i would specifically be testing how well it fits in with my existing workflow.

BlueCat Audio makes a good one. https://www.bluecataudio.com/Products/P ... PatchWork/
But the one I really recommend highly is FreeStyle from New Sonic Arts. (Given your use case, freestyle is probably better suited also.)

Another option to look into is DDMF Metaplugin. I haven't used it but did put it on my short list.

Freestyle looks like the most comprehensive solution and now has priority over Metaplugin on my list.
