I created a large template with East West libraries with fifteen instances of PLAY. The track count so far is 205. However, the CPU grid in Vienna Ensemble Pro 5 is at 89%. Of course I won't use all the articulations for every piece but rather a combination. Is there a way in DP to unload the ram for unused tracks then, when needed, trigger the ram when that articulation is needed?
thanks

DP 7 or 8?
Most of us haven't had to do this since OS 10.7 but I see that's what you are running. From an earlier thread:
To clear out RAM use the Terminal and type "sudo purge" then enter your password
OS 10.8 and later are much better at freeing up unused RAM.
