I'm new to DP and had trouble finding how to import tracks from other sessions, which I have always done for drums. So far, this is the best way I've found so I thought I'd make a tutorial in case anyone else had the same trouble.
I use the Load Function -> File/Load
I realize you can use the Clippings method, but I always get double tracks (when I drag the Clipping into the Sequence, ie: I get the tracks plus I get the same tracks again with copy appended to the track names, which I assume is a [Windows7] glitch).
Not sure what's causing the quality loss, if you click the view on YouTube, it's much better :-p

Re: Import / transfer tracks between sessions
Thanks for this!
I use clippings but never got the extra tracks you mentioned. But then again, I'm on Mac. Maybe you're right, could be a Windows glitch.
cheers
