I have a T510 and an 828 Mk3. The PC at present does not even show the 828 in the device manager after several installs of the drivers...
If that doesn't get ya where ya need to be, (assuming Windows 7), then just set the IEEE 1394 port to use the driver with Legacy in its name. It is already on the system as part of Win7. Just use Device Manager to do it - devmgmt.msc.
