Is there a way to stop long samples from playing once triggered?
With MPC's I'm used to hitting stop 3 times which acts as a PANIC control.
I've tried the MIDI cc's of 120 & 123 for 'sounds off' and 'all notes off' respectively, but neither stop long samples within Machfive.
Any suggestions?
All notes off? MIDI Panic? Sample stop??

You can try as well the main Stop button in top header.
Re: All notes off? MIDI Panic? Sample stop??
Thanks for the reply but neither work.
If you import a loop (or other long sample) and set it to one shot, the sample will play all the way through (as expected) but won't stop unless the sound is turned off at source.
Usual behavior is to terminate play back when a 'panic' message is sent but Machfive seems to ignore them when sounds are set to 'one shot'.
Hopefully they can address this in a future update.

I have also had occasion where I wish the stand alone M5 had a panic button. Perhaps this would be a nice feature for the upcoming upgrade.
