This was from another topic, but I thought MOTU and DP 8.02 deserved some kudos for this. I used to avoid Continuous Scroll in DP as I remembered it was jerky. I just did a test. DP 8.02 is significantly better than DP 7.24 in that department, leading me to believe MOTU did some tweaking here. Both videos are on same machine, same graphics card. DP 8.02 is noticeably smoother. If you stretch the browser window vertically you can start both movies at once and really see the difference.

Many thanks for this comparison. I notice a difference in the D.P. Activity Monitor in the top right .

I really wasn't looking at that. I was just into the fact that my project was playing back just fine and the scrolling was smoother.
