Disappearing Patch Lists

Post by NealF »

This is weird. It's happened to me in previous DPs too.
When I go to a track with an outboard synth and click and hold to bring up the patch list, as I move the cursor over the patches in the list, they disappear leaving a hole in the list that shows the window beneath.

The only way to get them back is to re click and get the pop up list again.

I'm on the latest DP 7.

Running any Spectrasonics VIs?

I have this happen a lot if Trillian or Omnisphere is active, for instance.

(On a side note I've noticed lately that Trillian interferes with Antares Auto Tune, too.)

Interesting.
I do run both of those. I'll have to see if it goes away in a sequence without them.

Thanks.

I have either a video or a screenshot of this anomaly somewhere here in the forum. I'll locate later and post the link.

I *think* that even in the project that you're in, if you freeze the VIs to audio and then release Trillian and Omnisphere, for instance, the anomaly disappears. (Release means to delete the VI from the project.)

Could be that you might need to close and reopen the project after the freezes. I can't remember.

That's exactly what's happening!

Without the Omnispere plugin the list is there. With it, it disappears.

I have the same issue as well. It also messes up the color chart when picking colors for tracks. One temporary solution is to close the Omnisphere VI window and then restart the project. All my graphic anomolies go away if Omnisphere is working , but its main window is closed upon start up of the project. So once you have Omnisphere set up with its tracks, editing, effects, etc. close the window and restart the project. I have has this issue for something like 2 years and keep hoping the next version of DP will get rid of it, but no such luck.
