I recently downloaded a Waves Digital plug-in to Demo (UBK-1) download went fine, the iLok worked without incident
DP 7.24 does see it- I've tried as both a VST and a AU
oddly, Reaper (which I seldom use) does see the AU version (I'm working with the folks behind the plug-in, but thus far, no success... clean instal, a script to erase the install log of any memory of the first instal....
so today I buy Antares Evo Choir... looks interesting and only $29. I can only pick one format, so I opt for the VST (I own Auto-Tune... it works fine ... whenever I use it)
Download/install goes well, iLok (agian) comes off with out a hitch... but DP doesn't see it
I've tried rebooting, restarting...
now with this one, Reaper does see it, but locks up while scanning....
any suggestions?
could my luck be running such that I've gotten two buggy softwares back to back?

Re: plugin issues
well that would certainly explain a lot!
I've apparently just been lucky up to now with plug in installers
that covers the Evo plug... but doesn't explain the Waves...
on the other hand, my odds just improved, to only one buggy plug!
