This is the second time I've had to trash Ivory Grand II and reinstall. I keep Ivory II on a Firewire drive and if I open a project that has Ivory II instances and the HD isn't on, DP freezes and quits. So I turn on drive and restart and the Ivory windows come up but the library is empty. Tried turning restarting, etc.. but Ivory can't find library.
This happened before and I had to reinstall. The problem is it takes forever to reinstall Ivory's 11 DVDs.... I thought I remember there being some issue library installer but couldn't remember. I have to finish this cue tonight so I opted for the sure fire reinstall. Curious if any others have dealt with this issue before with IVory or Ivory II??

Never happened to me, and hope it doesn't, as you say it takes forever to reinstall it.

I've never had that happen, but I have Ivory II on an internal drive.
I would contact their tech support.
I'm fairly sure you shouldn't have to reinstall the whole library.
The files are still there, Ivory just can't find them.
Probably a simply fix.
