MX4 has a really poor decay...

Hello,
Is it just me or are the envelope decays in the MX4 really unsatisfying. It's nearly impossible to create a smoothly decaying sound as the decay has a very steep dropping point! It sounds very un-natural.
Am I only the only one who has observed this? Or is there an aspect of the envelope I haven't figured out?
