Without some sample or something (screen capture) you won't get any more help or suggestions from me. Sorry. I also say trash you DP plists and/or reinstall the program. Frankly, it sounds like user error to me but again, without some kind of evidence to work from, I afraid, son, you're on your own.

trashed the .plist file and it didn't help.
