last week I bought tapatalk,installed on my ipod touch have been using and I really like it.....
well less than a week later I just picked up my 1st iphone,is there a way to install tapatalk on a 2nd device? or do I need to purchase again?

I just sent a message to Tapatalk support, but meanwhile:

Anybody else here getting crashes when accessing Motunation with Tapatalk on an iPad 2?

My iOS and Tapatalk software are up to date.

It crashes when I tap on 'Latest->Participated', or 'Favorites'.

I tried clearing the cache, but that didn't help.

If you have any other troubleshooting ideas, I'd love to hear 'em.

Same here. May have to do with board settings? The app fairly sucks. Crashes a lot and doesn't perform as expect from update to update. No ability to edit existing posts. Wasted $$$ IMO.

I've had the iPad version crash sometimes. I generally relaunch it and then it works. Not sure about not being able to edit existing posts with the app. They changed around some of the UI. I know that I can edit messages, but it may be due to my admin/moderator status.

Hey... it's sort of an "extra" thing. Any flakiness is on Tapatalk. However, I'm not having issues. If I had time I would do tech support for Tapatalk and this site. Note the use of the phrase: "If I had time..."

New update last night. Same crashes.

William at Tapatalk support replied pretty quickly and asked for the crash logs. Along the way, I learned that when you sync your iPad, crash logs are loaded onto your Mac here:

username -> Library -> Logs -> Crash Reporter -> MobileDevice -> (device name)

I sent the logs, and he sent back another build of the app which he said was fixed. Unfortunately, it crashed just like before, so I sent the new crash logs.

Will keep you posted.

At $2.99 or whatever it is, it's hardly worth the effort and I don't have the time to send them crash files, but I appreciate your doing so. The app also doesn't go to the newest post anymore, just the top of the thread or, at best, the top of the current page. It's a one star rating for apps IMO and needs a lot of work. OK, for quick reading and replying, but not really all that useful otherwise.

Oh well... they did get my $$$ so you gotta give 'em credit for that.

Working fine here. I use it all the time. Go figure. Periodically they release new versions of the files I need to install at the board in order for Tapatalk to do its thing. Could be it works better with phpBB's standard templates. I haven't gotten any noticed about updates for me to install here on the server, so what can I tell you?

Keep in mind I am using it on my iPhone. I don't use it on the iPad but I should try that. It's just harder to carry the iPad around in my pocket...

Just tried DP Control on my iPhone.
Wow! Fantastic. Now I don't have to swivel back-and-forth from computer to equipment to sample my takes.

Just tried it on my wife's iPad. Verify nice but hopefully MOTU will create a version built specifically for the iPad some day that will take advantage to the increased real-estate of the iPad (currently was built only for the iPhone. Must enable 2x on the iPad to be full screen).

iPhone, but I think that is not supported since it is free, or you are unable to respond to alerts.
The message could not be seen as an option.
I always pause to check the forums, so this is much easier. I guess that will emerge the version 2.99.

Hey, I just discovered this thread, and I went to look for the free version of the application, but it wasn't in the app store, only the paid version. Has the free version been discontinued?
