Looking for '60s psychedelic backgrounds and fonts

Post by Timeline »

Anyone know where to find drug inspired '60s psychedelic backgrounds and fonts.

I'm recompiling all the songs I cut when i was 18 from the late '60s on a cd. The Gazzari banner comes to mind.

Thanks,

Gary

Have you tried Googling? You should be able to come up with hundreds of free fonts and graphics.

If you don't mind paying, look at nicksfonts.com for groovy type fonts. He specializes in period fonts.

Try MyFonts on the web. It'll give you samples and direct you to purchasing links, should you need to pay for what you want. The site will also let you see how your text looks in the prospective font.

Here's their search page:

Try typing in "psychedelia" or "60s" or "retro" or similar, then try searching other like suggestions. You should unearth quite of few choices.

And, here's a site that specializes in retro-style and niche design fonts:

Here's another link to try. Cheaper fonts, but fewer choices:

Good luck.

Thanks for that font link Chris. I have googled but the backgrounds are harder to find.

I'll keep looking
