this is kind of difficult to answer in the way you asked the question...

1) Unisyn can get from hardware synths the banks and patches and save them to disk.
2) Unisyn can edit the patches and banks and send them to the hardware synth.
3) Unisyn can manage all the patches and banks for a LogicExpress song, all the patch editing and management can be done in Unisyn and saved as a song specific file, such as, Logic song is "MyBestWork.lso", Unisyn snap shot is "MyBestWork.snap" or some similar naming like this. This way
you just load up the Unisyn snap shot file and all your banks and patches are sent to the synths and you are ready, just hit play in LogicExpress.

But, this will not get you the actual patch names in the patch/bank pop-up window within Logic Express.
Is what you need, only the names to show in LogicExpress?

Both, actually Id like unisyn to manage and store banks/patches
and have a way to see these patch names in logic express( even if another method to see names in LE other than Unisyn was required)

Ok, the way it's "Supposed to work" is talked about in the Unisyn 2.1 update notes pamphlet that came with your Unisyn2 manual.
It talks about it in top of 2nd collumn on page5.
But, I do not think Logic actually yet supports Core MIDI patch lists.
So that ideal way, is not yet possible using Logic.
However, you could still manage patch/banks with Unisyn and simply copy the names of patches out of a bank and then in Logic
paste then into the patch browser pop-up window...
you know like here, see image...
http://www.screenlands.com/logic/patchlist_pasteAll.gif
but the trouble is doing the "copy" of only the names text in a bank in Unisyn. I'll look into that more tomorrow for me too.

Ok, here's something, its ready-made Environment Objects for Logic
of many sound modules with factory patch lists. (works in express or pro)
it's at... http://groups.yahoo.com/group/logic-users/files
it's the file titled "Various Multi Sets.zip"

it contains pre-configured Logic environment objects for
the following synths...
(and includes patch names for all factory banks and some expansions cards)

Alesis
Emu
Ensoniq
Kawai
Korg
Kurzweil
Lexicon
Roland
Roland JV/JX/X
Yamaha
Various

I have tired it and it saves you from having to copy and paste
patch names and give you a pre-configured environment object almost
ready to use inside LogicExpress.

However, the integration of editing in Unisyn will not be reflected in the
patch lists in LogicExpress due to the fact in previous post about Unisyn
update notes and Logic not
yet supporting ".midnam" XML publishing "swap" files for patch names.

Another resource might be user groups for Logic at :
http://discussions.info.apple.com
or user groups for your particular synth.
