changes in 2.1 from 1.52 ie: jv-1010 and jv-2080

Post by zandurian »

I was shocked and thrilled to find that in 1.52 (though no jv-1010 profile existed EVERY jv-2080 patch parameter was identical and compatable with the jv-1010. I could get patches - rename and save the edited patches built a nice library. It would not "get" or save the actual jv-1010 performances so I would just save a unisyn performance and when opening the unisyn performance all patches would be sent to the 1010 on there respective MIDI channels - flawless. Now with 2.1 the 2080 profile will not speak to the 1010 anymore. Anyone have a clue?
