Unisyn to midnames in OSX

Post by JBova515 »

Hi,

Have any of you tried converting your patch banks in Unisyn to .midnam files? I want to have midinames available to all my OSX apps.

Not sure about how to do it in Unisyn - but I've had good luck creating midnam files in CherryPicker.

Thanks, I have tried this. It all looks right after the conversion but if I try to open the patch list in PTools it tells me it is a corrupted file. Digi had me throw out all the motu created patch lists and reinstall their factory defaults and they appear fine. Problem is their patch lists must be 5 years old.

Cherrypicker is a shareware app that allows you to manage patch names and lists in DP. You can check it out on their web page and see if it will be useful to you (it will...)
