I have a canopus box for video output that works fine on my protools HD rig. When I try and use it on dp 4.52 with 828 mk2 DP just freezes up. It's on it's own firewire port as is the 828.
MOTU tech say it should work but I think they are telling me a big smelly lie. Anyoen got it to work? I know it works with a 2408. I think there is some nasty firewire conflict going on.
Anyone?

I can get it to work
You must use a firewire 400 cable
not that mini Ilink connection on the front of the canopus.
I had to try also several times before I got it to work.
