I was irritated that the reply was a bit glib, but am trying to find settings in Quicktime that might affect audio export and can't find any. Can anyone offer a bit more through explanation? Monday, if I've not figured out the answer, I'll respond back to arboretum.It seems that the "c" in aifc stands for compressed which may explain why DP doesn't want your exported files. You'd need to check your Export options (all QuickTime based stuff) and I am pretty sure the solution should be found there.

DP to/from Arboretum HyperEngine-AV
I'd like to process a DP file using Ray Gun Pro. However, when I export from Raygun, the file (exported as raw audio uncompressed) has the extension aifc so DP won't deal with it. I wrote an email to Arboretum and got back this reply:
