Mach 5 & Streaming

Post by Adam Howden »

Hi all,

I'm running the latest version of Mach 5 with the streaming option. But have noticed that its not letting me stream, is there only certain patches that it works with, or is this a known problem, it has worked in the past, was wondering if any new wether I might be doing something wrong?

Thanks, in advance, Adam.

Hello

Where do you have your Mach 5 folder stored ?? Is it on an external drive ??

What exactly is happening when you attempt to hit the streaming button ?? Does it react at all ?? This happens with all mach 5 samples ?? presets ??

Hi All,

Yeah its happening with all mach 5 patches. Its lighting up but then it just turns itself off again. It was working fine a few weeks ago, it would light up and off you go?......

Hmmmm....

Is it happening in all projects ?? Lets say, you open up a new project using a different template then you are using right now; does the streaming problem still occur ?? Never heard of this but curious as to why it would be happening. Let me know if the same thing happens under a new project/template.

Sounds a little bit like the situation I had with my Plugsound VIs (those don't stream, by the way). You click the button, it lights up, and then goes back to business as usual. It has been my experience that certain VIs just don't stream. If you're having trouble with normal samples, though, you may have a different situation.
