9/11 remembered

As there is not a general chat on the main board i posted this here for you all on this day and I hope that James does not mind.

Just to say my thoughts to those of you in the States on this day and to those of you who may be personally effected by past events.

I know im from the U.K however some of my closest friends are from the States

I lost an acquaintance that day. Not a close friend, but I knew her through a mutual friend. Sept 11 will always be different for me now. My heart goes out to all those who lost their lives and also to their families.

I watched the plane that hit the Pentagon from just across the river, and 2 close friends of mine lost cousins in the NYFD that ran into the flames to rescue people. We are blessed to share this world with people like our first responders, and may we see our differences as human strengths, not reasons for hatred and divisiveness.
