iLok newbie needs help

Post by pfc-pa »

I recently purchased Mach Five, after working the first time, the iLok key is no longer recognized by the software. It blinks a couple of times after being plugged in, but the software startup page says there's no iLok there. (of course we all know better) Anyone know how to deal with this?

Maybe try switching it over to a different USB port. I've found I need to use the one in the back of the box for consistent ID.

thanks for the reply. Tried moving it all over the place with the same result, --I've heard tales of bad iLok's being replaced by MOTU--guess I'll email MOTU tech support (and take a very long nap)

Yes .. If you don't see a light on the ilok it most likely will need to be replaced.
