BPM 1.5 Question To Anyone That Already Has It..

In the new preferences window in the remote tab where you can save custom MIDI controller assignments, i am thinking this is a set it and forget it type of setting.. Now my question is i noticed mr. D was using the standalone and do these settings once set apply to the Plug-In version..? As thats what i use most.. Thanks and if the answer is yes why doesnt motu introduce this across all VI's and Plug-ins it would be a HUGE help... Im getting sick of having to re-map the controllers EVERY time i open an instance of the Plug-in or VI.. Thanks in advance..
