I was correcting some pitch problems using the wave editor by going in and move those bars on the wave form. after I finish and went back to the sequence and played the edited sound bite, there was a delay in its playback of about a half second. The playback wiper visually reinforced what I was hearing, As it moved over the soundbite what was heard was delayed.
The next day on a completely different project, i used the Transpose (CMD+9) on a sound bite and the same things happened, however when I used Spectral Effects it did not happen. What could be causing this shift in timing of the play back of these soundbites. Merging the sound bit or Bouncing to Disc did not correct the problem. I haven't installed any new softwear.
I'm using DP 6.02 on Mac OS 10.5.8
Thank you in advance
