Hi there DP kids.
I keep having problems with DP crashing for no apparent reason not long after launching it. It will open the load any VI's and the session data but if i try any operations it quits!
This doesn't happen every time but i give it a 50/50 chance every time i load. I don't run anyother prorams that choke CPU when i use DP.
What could this be? Is the program unstable? Anyone else have this? Advice?

DP 4.52 CRASHING!!! Why?
2x2.66 GHz Mac Pro Dual-Core Intel Xeon w/ 5GB RAM, MacBook 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo w/4GB RAM. DP 5.13, East West Platinum ProXP, East West PLAY (Goliath, SD2) BFD, Spectrasonics Atmosphere + Trilogy, Stylus RMX, Kontakt 2, Ethno instr. and MSI.

Here are a few suggestions.
1.Try repairing your permissions and then restart.
2.Run Disk Warrior
3.Remove all VI's from the plugin folder and test each one at a time to see if they are the culprits.

If you're running any Native Instrument plugins in MONO, don't. In my experience (Komplete 2), several of these, including Battery 2, will crash DP at random times when run in MONO. I'm not sure if this applies to other vendor's plugins** but you might try avoiding any MONO instances of any plugin for a while just to see.
**i.e. perhaps it's a DP problem and not NI, but the traceback always points to NI.
