keyswitching problem

Here's the problem. I assigned 2 parts, marcato strings on one and pizz strings on the other, set both parts to the same MIDI channel. In expert mode, I assigned the note "A 1" as the keyswitch note for the marc strings and "A# 1" for the pizz. I'm assuming that what should happen is that those two keyswitch notes will activate their respective sounds. It's not working. Both the marc and pizz play. I get no sound on the "A# 1" note, but I am unable to toggle the two sounds on or off. Anyone have any advice/similar experience?

The keyswitch feature does not work for me either.
