Howdy
Old Encore notation program does not work too well on G5.
Any ideas on a small notation program just to write piano sheets with lyrics for a G5?
Many thanks

Re: Piano Notation Program
Are you using Digital Performer? There is Quickscribe built in that could do that fairly easily. Also, Print Music from MakeMusic is a low level Finale program.

Print Music is my first choice for lead sheets. It is simple clear and way enough for basic fakebook style charts.

Re: Piano Notation Program
You do realise that Encore recently came back from the grave, correct? Perhaps that is your best option.
Let me know what you find out, because one of my co-workers worked on Encore right before they went bust. So many of the new features are ones he worked on that he's actually not certain whether his code base is part of the new release, after all these years. But he does still have direct contacts there, and can probably answer any questions that don't answer themselves at their website.
