Betta Splendens. Gotta love 'em, although those boys ain't lovers; they're fighters, which means that MLC's comments were all the more funny. A Betta called Robbie DeNiro? Just show him a mirror and stand back... LOL

Well the answers I have been trying to get from MOTU over the last 2 weeks with my problems with PPC G5 2.0, OSX 10.5.5 and 10.5.6 plus DP 6.01 is "Quote" "They have had nobody report any problems with 6.01 and 10.5.6.", "Try Leopard 10.5.6 combo" NOBODY only ME WOW!

6.0 seems to work fine under 10.5.5 I am about to try the combo 10.5.6 from the Apple site downloads. However I am a little scared because DP 5.13 is working great now thank God. So weather we see 6.2 anytime soon and any fixes for PPC G5 in there, I doubt it! There are no problems remember...RIGHT MOTU

I get the impression they cannot reproduce such problems based upon my detailed reporting. I also did suggest Tech Support find a moment and check out MOTUNATION.COM just incase there was any others having such problems.

Well, now... THAT explains the clicks and pops, and maybe even the crackles.

DP 6.02: it's CRISPIER!

Have you tried using banana plugs? They're easy to make if you have the right tools.

Every time I use Banana plugs...I get crackles and pops in the audio. So I don't use them any more.

My last betta was named Darth Betta.
How appropriate! LOL

FWIW, black Bettas were developed in the '50s (I think) through the use of X-Rays. Of course, they were infertile mutants in the end, as would be the case with any animal subjected to (forced or otherwise) sufficient random mutations; the prerequisites for reproduction are simply too exacting to be tolerant of such things.

At least Darth was fertile. LOL

Are you an aquarist too, Alan? I know that if I lived up where you are, my whole backyard would be a system of ponds.
