Just saw this in MIX Magazine online:

It's really nice to hear that this has worked out.

Is the driver still Public Beta, or have they updated it since IO's last report?

So if you have been reading this post you have read the issues i have been having, i just spoke with tech support @ euphonix and he said yeah they know about it and to uninstall the eucon software and reinstall it.. also to change the application name from Digital Performer 6.01 to Digital Performer 6. i am doing this now and will let you know how it turns out.. i was about to go pick up an mc control.. but what good would it do me if the driver does not work fully everytime...

for the mackie console ....when you go to the website, click each link of software representation and it describes three different compatability options.
DP is only listed for two. They made it with logic in favoritism.

it seems like euphonix has the SAME exact issue

Let's hope they roll out the updates on it before they produce another piece of hardware that is far superior. Hope the euphonix works out for you guys~!

So for the low down...

1. the OLED level meters never worked on the MIDI, instrument, and master Faders.. They still dont work, but on audio tracks they are fine.
2. the Master track pan is always set hard right, dont hear a difference though..
3. The old version of eucontrol 1.2.2 crashed dp on quit.. This one does too...
4. DP does not follow the euphonix when switching banks...

overall it feels snappier.. can i say that..?

That's an odd suggestion at first glance-- but since there's been a more recent update maybe it's moot.

I guess there are no residual problems with changing the app name.

They are responsive. However, they are not well organized in their default layout and they are rather sparse. The implementation is very beta unlike the layout for logic 8 which was done very well. You can edit the softkeys , I just haven't had the time to sit down and do this as of yet.
