Same old reverb problems..

I upgraded my computer to Vista 64, a Q6600 quad core processor, and kept my old XFi soundcard and to my surprise I'm still getting crackles when I try to use convolution reverb! My RAM (4 gigs of DDr2) usage is at 47% while my CPUs may go up to 40% max. My Buffer is at 1ms and changing it doesn't seem to do anything with the problem.

I guess the problem is MSI uses primarily 1 core, which spikes quickly to 93% before dropping down..

Is there any way to fix convolution reverb? Would overclocking (2.4 GHz stock) help..?
