Problems with 2.1

I'm a new MX4 user. A couple of days ago I downloaded the 2.1 upgrade.

I've experienced several problems with 2.1. I use MX4 in Logic Pro 8.0.1.

First, after saving a preset in the file page I'm not able to return to the main page (or change to any other page for that matter) unless I close MX4 and reopen it.

Second, after saving the project and later reopening it I find that MX4 no longer recalls the preset I had saved with the project. Instead I get the default preset, (Hello, MX4) which is displayed in italics (as happens when you edit a preset) and with an incorrect waveform.

I've since returned to using MX4 2.0 with no problems.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has had these problems with 2.1, or has any fixes.

Actually I've just read the posting about MX4 2.1 in Logic 7.2.3 woes, which sounds pretty much like an answer to my posting.

It seems as if 2.1 is not so much an upgrade but 2.0 with some extra added bug features. So I guess I'll stick to 2.0 for the moment.

Hopefully Motu will address these issues and that 2.2 or 3.0 or whatever comes next will be more successful in improving MX4.
