Brown Bear new singles recorded in DP

Post by Mr_Clifford »

Hey, for anyone that's interested, you can get free mp3 downloads of Brown Bear's latest couple of singles from the Triple J Unearthed website

http://www.triplejunearthed.com/Artists ... istid=7189

The two songs "Was That It?" and "Naked" were both produced entirely in DP. In "Was That It?" we did all the drum programming (the drums at the end are live) with Model 12 and all the synths were done with the DP FM synth.

Hey Cliffo, I've been meaning to ask you for some time how BB is going.
Great little surprise to see the name in a thread tiltle. :D

The mp3s are deemed .exe by Safari (for me at least), and this is the last of several attempts to post a reply to you; she bombs out during the D/L process.
Bummer. I was hoping to provide the inevitable pontifications in 100 years or so once the D/Ls were complete.

I'll bet BB's sounding great. It's cool that you're still together and apparently going from strength to strength.
I'm really happy for you man. :D

Thanks Monkey Man,

We're going to be touring most of January, although unfortunately we won't be getting as far south as Melbourne.

Sorry the download didn't work out for you. Weird that it came up as a .exe file.

Excellent!
Great mixes, I have zero criticism. Those "naked" kinda arrangements can be the toughest sometimes. Everything's gotta be just right. The effects are perfect IMHO.
I really dig it! Cool guitar on Naked.
Best wishes for success

It came up as a .exe file for me too, but I downloaded it anyway. I just deleted the .exe part of the filename and it played fine in Quicktime. On a Mac. Nice tunes!
