I figured I would just get all of my questions out there in the first post...
I recently purchased and HP duocore processor laptop, that came pre-loaded with Vista, I then purchased and Alesis io|26 and Cubase SL3 with the purpose of recording my band.
The problem I'm having is the Alesis just doesn't seem to want to work to well with Vista, so I've been looking at the MOTU...
Is the MOTU good with Vista, how is it with Cubase, and...could I keep the Alesis and hook it up to the MOTU for an additional 8 mic pre's...?
