It did occur to me some time back that mountable DAW transport control hardware would be very cool for guitarists.
No more having to reach over for the keypad with a dangerous weapon around your neck.

I haven't tried it with PTLE, but it works pretty well with Live and DP.
I use Mira to assign key commands and fire them from the remote.
