Help Gen AUDIO SMPTE Code from MTP/AV/USB

Hi,

Can ya help a guy out?

DP 4.6.1 and a MTP AV/USB...

How can I cause the MTP to generate an audio output SMPTE Code in sync with the time code of the DP file???? (I need an audio TC to be available from the MTP SMPTE OUT when I start the DP file that is in sync with the time code in the DP file.)

I am able to generate an audio SMPTE code using the manual (ENTER) start button on the MTP and all is well down stream when I do that. However, I am not able to get the TC output of the MTP to track (spit out the same TC when I push play) my DP file....!

This has got to be easier than I am trying to make it...But I have RTFM and am still not getting any joy here.

I must be overlooking something entirely stupid. Please help!!!
