I have a folder with about 12 gigs of data. Images in this folder are sorted by type. JPEGs are in JPEG folders and so on.
I'm trying to make this smart folder that will show me ALL images in this folder. I've explicitly pointed it to one folder, some, or even all 35 of the folders containing the images.
Spotlight doesn't search it either. There are no locations listed under the privacy tab in system preferences.
I've reindexed with no results.
What the heck?
I'm about to pull my hair out.
Maybe I'm stupid...But I cannot get this smart folder to go.

when you create a smart folder there are the 'location' choices under the window toolbar (top of the window) with 'Server' 'Computer' 'Home' 'Others..'
Setup the smart folder filters as desired and then click the 'Others...' and then drag the folder you want to search into that window.
