UCLA Study

Post by chamelion »

A study conducted by UCLA's Department of Psychiatry has revealed that the kind of face a woman finds attractive on a man can differ depending on where she is in her menstrual cycle.

For example: If she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with rugged and masculine features.

However, if she is menstruating or menopausal, she tends to be more attracted to a man with duct tape over his mouth and a spear lodged in his chest while he is on fire.

No further studies are expected.

Her hormone profile alone would explain this.

She's most, erm, hot immediately (2-3 days) prior to ovulation.
It's breedin' time, and the body asserts this, resulting in exaggerated, sex-driven thoughts and actions.

Tha rest of the time she just needs geeks like us to laugh and cry with.
Just think: If women only ovulated once a year, the Brad Pitts of this world'd be useless.

Aah... to dream...

Geoff, I wonder if you saw this "debated" (if you could call it that) on SBS's Insight programme.

They mentioned that a woman becomes more of a bastard (like us) at this time.
Agressive, assertive, knowing what she wants, and wanting it now.
Of course, this is only for 3 days. Thank God.
In most cases, anyway!

We've got enough of these peeps running amok already!

Nah! Just a wry, humorous observation that rings true for many of us poor bastards.

I once observed humus, and asked, "wry?"
Then I realised I was a bastard who rang poorly, truly.
