Hey, builder,

Thank you ever so much for your generosity.

What with my unreliable 2k connection, I'll be able to provide some feedback in, oh, 475 years.
It's quite an undertaking, but the download has commenced...

Yea, DSL and FiberOptics are very handy in situations like yours. I would be willing send CD's to people who pay for shipping if they care to have one.

In case you missed the info, they were all recorded and mixed in my home studio using DP 4.6, and 5.01, with the exception of "All I Need Is An Excuse" which was mixed at Miner Street Studios in Philly.....

Yay! Only 2 days for the download.

Dang, brilliant, builder.
Old school meets new school, and so well done.
Melody-driven: Now that's new.
Great resolve and construction-maturity.
Diction clear. In this day and age that's almost unbelievable.

The vocal sound and performance are damn-well perfect pop, IMHO.
Reminds me of DC Talk, Beatles, Ben Folds Five, Madness and so many others.

May I say this EP's a clinic in its genre? Thanks.
This EP's a clinic in its genre.

Seems to me the builder's built somethin' here...
Keep it up, dude!
MM

PS: I couldn't hear the guitar solo in "Sadder than Sad".
I suspect it sounded right in stereo; I'm listening mono-only at the mo'.
In "Kill the Soundman" it's louder, but still lacks definition IMHO.
In both cases, I'd have used more amp/less room and cut a little more bottom end.
This would have reduced muddiness and brought 'em upfront.

PPS: Don't let the PS put you off!

Good -- I am glad I am not the only one on unicornation who's become a

DERANGED MISSING PALMER WEST fan. 8)

The EP is really a knockout and damn inspirational.

Phew! So it's not just me.

I kinda felt silly posting that stuff, as I'm only listening on the mac speaker.
Still, class tends to rise to the top.
I've no idea what that means in this context.

It matters not anyhow, as we're both deranged, Greg!

PS: I intended to mention the imagination factor, too, so may I? Thanks.

Awe shucks guys....

Thanks for the kind words.....
I have kind of made it my new buisnees model to give our recordings away.....

Its sort of nice cause it takes all the pressure away.

We still have CD's for sale at show....

We mostly just use them to send out to get review at such....

Thanks again!

I keep getting hung up there, too.
Extra-special this one is, methinks; real classic feel.

Again, Builder, well bloody done, mate!
