Hey, jgest

The ol' 2k connection won't allow You-Tubin'.
Still I left the window loading half an hour and managed to get some stutters of audio near the start.
I wasn't laughing - only at myself for attempting this.

Sounds really cool, at least in snippets.

laugh at what? man, that's some sweet, lush sounding stuff. i like.
i dig the doubled bass on one thousand words. nice and fat but not too obtrusive. everything seems to fit nicely and fill the spectrum without sounding too crowded...it's ambient, but not washed out.

Hey, that's cool. It kind of reminds me of Air (well the vocal anyways). Grooving! That guitar has just the right tone for this vibe. Those moog sounds are cool too. I like it!

 I get a little intimidated since I'm more of a musician than an engineer. Thanks for the sentiments guys.

Your engineering is just fine.
It's more about listening than tech knowledge anyway, methinks.

You obviously listened, achieved a good balance and went with a proven mastering option.
Don't be so hard on yourself.*
Credit where it's due, mate! :D

Cheers, jgest, and here's hopin' your new-found confidence helps you rise to ever higher, well, heights.

I was taught early in the game to NEVER master my own music. I send it out for mastering.
