MX4 and the MIDI fader

How come the MIDI fader in the Mixing board in DP doesn't affect the volume in MX4 like all other VI's ?
What have I missed?

It's because of the modulation architecture of the plug-in. You can assign ANYTHING to control the Volume within the plug-in. If you want CC7 mapped to the volume slider, go ahead and map it, but be aware that if you do that, you won't be able to control volume with other parameters.
