Just Getting Back To DP!

Post by Pappy725 »

Wow! First time back in a long time, it sure is good to see familiar names and avatars still here! Anyway, I've spent the last 4 years selling a house, moving into another one, (while remodeling) and retired from the Postal Service. I also left a musical business arrangement after almost 40 years. When the hell did all that happen?

Now I'm getting back to DP, was doing sound with a Presonus 24.4.2 and have been trying to record with that but Studio 1 or whatever number it's up to didn't work as easily as DP and messing with the the playback through the board got crazy. I simplified and brought out the trusty MOTUs! It took me most of the day to get the hardware playing nice with my new to me MBP, but this just feels a lot better and just... right.

Thanks again to James Steele for keeping this board alive!
