Horrible avatars

Post by MIDI Life Crisis »

It's been a long time since I blocked someone for an avatar. The last time was because it was offensive or some annoying gif. Today, I'm sorry to say, I blocked someone who's avatar is simple annoying. I won't go into details as to how it is annoying as I truly don't wish to offend anyone personally. Suffice it to say that I simply DO NOT want to see the avatar as it is clearly intended to be annoying.

To the member in question (whoever you are... LOL): You're mission has been accomplished. You have succeeded in grossing me out. Good job. See ya... or, actually, not so much any more.

Personally I think animated GIF avatars should be against forum rules. They make it hard to concentrate on a post, and they detract from the attention the post should be given. I say we run this by Doris.

Well she, herself, is quite animated at times - especially when having to hand out refunds! We could also just charge double the membership fee if you use an animated gif or "hostile" avatar...
