There are quite a few members who have been absent lately, and I miss their valuable input. While a few of them have left in a huff or were taken out in James' trash, I fear for the safety or health of most of them. I remember Geoff (chamelion) was having some serious health problems, and since we haven't heard from him since 2013, I fear the worst. I'm sure others have moved on, and in other cases like Frodo, one merely has to use the summoning spell!

I've maybe booted off two people in the past few years. It had not amounted to that many people despite my fearsome reputation.

There's an advantage to having a reputation, as it intimidates people into compliance.

I too have been wondering about a lot of people who used to contribute a lot. But sometimes people move on even if they still use the product, because they're at a stage where they have no interest in prioritizing further growth in product depth and breadth at the expense of just working with what they know -- this is where I stand relative to keyboards and synths at this point in time.

Having said that, there have been a HUGE number of deaths on the Keyboard Forum recently. So there is definitely legitimate reason for concern when a member suddenly stops posting.

I hope Radio Gal is OK. I miss her presence here too.
