by the way, I got the Vangelis and Wendy Carlos references, but who is being spoofed by Morgio Zoroger? I can almost remember someone, possibly Italian, but it's just out of reach. Anyone?

[Edit] Never mind. I remember. Giorgio Moroder.

Kind of liked it; not sure what's 'not safe for work' in this video though.

I happen to work at SOC (Save Our Comets). If I pulled that video up at the office, my chances for promotion would immediately evaporate and my job would surely be in grave jeopardy.

Don't call me Shirley and that's the worst waste of time I've experienced in a while. I watched it to the end hoping it would get funny, but it didn't. That skit was really crap IMO. YMMV

Apologies if I've wasted anyone's time. I thought a skit with a Moog System 55 and a Professor of MIDIology would play here better than most venues.

Don't feel bad; I loved it for the camp that it was. Anybody that can't laugh at that is taking life way too serious.

I thought it was funny. The bad production values are deliberate (and harder to reproduce than you'd think), and electronic musicians who take themselves "sooooo seriously" need a good ribbing.

I work at No More Comets, and even there, it would be just cause for dismissal.

Check, check and check. At first, I thought of it as an opportunity missed but then wondered if it was better done, would it have been funnier?
