Indeed. He was a fixture in the San Francisco Bay Area and our paths crossed many times. He had been sick for a couple of years but still, when it happens... Damn. What a loss.

This isn't bad. It omits mention of the first version of the Acoustic Warriors that gigged extensively in the San Francisco Bay Area from 1978 to the early '80s. I have one of those recordings.

Although his tastes were eclectic, he was aware that fans and audiences would be disappointed if he didn't do his best known songs. "I Scare Myself" and "How Can I Miss You If You Won't Go Away?". If he ever tired of doing the hits, it never showed.
